'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League return
Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is currently two years through the four-year contract he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.
The veteran forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, helping them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the first important achievement of his illustrious career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier expressed that he would be pleased to see Kane return to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he once was, and would seriously think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
